a month in a nutshell ♡ 2016.10

It feels kind of weird that it is already time for another month in a nutshell again. 

After life has been kind of slow the last weeks of September it sped up rapidly in October and there is so much that changed or is in change right now, I can't even grasp it completely yet - standing in the middle of it all.

It's actually so much going on right now, that I struggle to write coherent sentences right now - there is still so much whirling around in my head.

I hope that sitting down and writing about October and remembering some of the things I did the past couple of weeks will slow me down a bit. Maybe this will make the spinning stop (it's a great excuse to not do my homework, too - even though I will most probably regret it tomorrow).

a month in a nutshell ♡ 2016.05

It's been so long since I was able to do an update. I'm sorry and it is frustrating me, too but these months have been crazy!

One of my university classes ends sooner this semester, which ultimatively means I'll have 4 more hours a week after next week, when the last lecture is.

I'm actually kind of sad that it ends because it's been one of the classes in my university career so far that I feel really had a positive impact on me and even if I had knowledge and were aware of most of the things we've discussed and learned, deepened my understanding for the matter.

So if you have the chance to take a class or be part of a project about Gender and Diversity, I warmly recommend it (I can't promise that your teacher & the whole program will be as great as the experience I made, though).

On the other hand, I look forward to it since I've been pretty much juggling with language classes, lectures and working hours of my internship all week since April and having one class less to worry about sounds like a dream.

University work piles up like crazy these weeks and I am actually two essays behind in Japanese class, that I still need to hand in asap...

Enough explanations and apologies, today I will finally give a small résumé of May and what this month was all about, in this (slightly delayed) May in a nutshell.

2014 catch ♡ august - december

As promised, I won't let you down on the second part of this year's catch.
There are still enough things I want to show you.
I did however not include any Christmas presents or the things I bought in Japan in these updates, since they'll get seperate updates next year.

the only thing I got in August. I love to buy t-shirts as a memory after concerts... but sadly LedApple was the last concert where I was able to buy a souvenir like that for me.

It's the countdown these days, 2015 is coming closer and closer and I am still missing two months since I started this nutshell madness. I actually enjoy it a lot and I think I will continue it in 2015. It just looks so cute and I grew addicted to cute photo-edit apps on my phone anyway.

2014 catch ♡ april - july

It's time to get some of the things done, that I whined about when I said there were posts that needed to be done before 2015 sneaks in behind our backs.
I noticed that I did way too few {gets} posts this year. The first was published really early, in February - you can read about it here.

And as I learned that many of my readers seem to like those, it's about time I do another one, and spam you with some of the goodness I got to call my own during the first half of the year.

Nothing new - I'm a huge BABY; 

so of course there was a point where I got myself some goodies. 

This point was back in April and it was kind of a birthday present for myself; 

if you want to say it like that.

a month in a nutshell ♡ 七月

It's getting really cold and dark outside these days...
I'm busy as ever with university because the midterm tests for Korean class come already rolling in.
Honestly, I wish I had more time for myself; get some serious writing and blogging done - but I try to be more considerate and responsible for my body so sleep always comes first these days.
I'm really sad I can even do less with important friends who live far away because their schedule keeps them busy as well.
Though I still try to keep myself hyped and motivated, things like this make it a bit harder to stay focused and put your everything into your studies.
Even right now, when I'm writing this, a small nagging voice inside my head tells me that I should actually be writing flash cards or finish Japanese homework I've been doing for practise - but you can't always work, I say.

Since I don't want you to get too bored when I wallow in memories of Japan all the time, we're having another month in a nutshell today. We're looking back to the mids of summer; July.
- probably good to cheer up the mood, after coming home at 5PM to find everything already swallowed by November's early nightfall.

I'm on vacation, guys!
I'm going to be for a while, too. I've spent a week at Aiji and Maya's place.
Two lovely friends of mine, I meet way too rarely because we live on opposite sites of Germany (buh!)
Right now I'm besieging one of my precious real-life treasures, Cat.

She's so great and amazing but she'll probably never admit it though.

I sure could have done another JAPAN post now, but I feel like a lot has gone missing during these months of university and now... I feel like I just can't put all the pieces together enough to make it really interesting.
Guess university life just isn't interesting after all.
Long story short; I decided to put together at least a hand full of highlights - worthy enough for me to post it on Instagram - portraying what May was all about, long ago, when 2014 was still fresh and new.

{life update} Late Christmas

I was really happy when one of my readers asked me about how I spend my Christmas and I really, really wanted to write about it.
Actually it's time to state your New Year's resolutions now and write a small resume of the year and such but honestly... it's more disturbing if you have to do a Christmas related post after New Year. 

This is going to be super picture heavy. I hope I'll find a way to arrange everything in a logical order...

As every year I spend Christmas with my family. Yes.

On Christmas Eve I was with my parents, my siblings and my granny.

We sang Christmas songs, had a really good meal and I recieved so many presents I felt like I'd die in excitement. Yes, I did make a list with my wishes. 

Yes, I wanted a new Nintendo GBA/DS console because my first and only broke. 
Yes, I thought about getting the new 3DS. 

Yes, I wanted the new Pokémon White 2 Edition so bad. 

But I never dreamed of recieving ALL of this. 

I even got a curling iron form my father though he actually gave some money for my new ice white Nintendo too.

My family is the best. I can't even describe how happy I was, how stunned I was. 

{life update} JULY: in the middle of summer ?

Finally I start with the entries of July.
I really, really hope that I'll be able some day to blog about what's actually happen this days. haha
I need to get rid of that delay-posting.
That's why I'll do this huge post about what happened in July and one special post about my trip to Duisburg/Düsseldorf.

8th till 10th of July - there's so much green in the city.
I went to my grandma and grandpa for that couple of days...
I helped in their garden and did some gardening and just enjoyed my time there.
They live in a more outlayering area of Berlin... much green again there and in Wannsee and Grunewald you even have big woods.
It's nice there... all the houses around their street look quite big and a bit exclusive...
The mansions of Grunewald and around are still a bit remote. haha
My grandparents live near the University I want to attend... that's quite cool. 
If I look through my photos it looks like the only thing I did there was... eating. lol.
My grandparents use to eat proper lunch... I'm actually not used to this. But it's always so nice and delicious.
Sometimes they even have to cook extras for me because of my picky taste and my allergy.
It's so nice they really do. Love for that, though I'm actually not the enthusiasic eater...

 But it's simply so delicious...
