Catching 'em all ♡ Pokémon Go Adventures

No comments:
Just as promised in my last month in a nutshell a few days ago, I will share some impressions of my adventures with Pokémon Go.

source ♡
I'm far from being an expert in this game and compared to a lot of my friends I'm not as absorbed in it
(my brother is around LV 22 or something while I'm at LV 10)
I guess I never was the person to play a lot of games on their phone - beside GPS eats up my phone's battery like it's nothing and seeing that I live about 2km from the next PokéStop or gym doesn't make it more appealing or easier for me to play.
I literally have to drive into the next city to be able to enjoy the game and catch more than Pidgey, Rattata, Weedle and the occasional Venonat.

I generally feel like the game is best enjoyed with a companion anyway, which brings us to today's topic: I had an amazing time when I met up with my best friend s.a.m two weeks ago to sound the bell for our summer break and catch some Pokémon together.

spring reminiscence ♡

After it's been 2 months and 4 days since I posted the follow-up of catching springcherry blossom capture, I thought it was about damn time to finally post the great finale of the impressions and flowerage I deeply breathed in and captured on camera last spring.

The photos will include shots from around the Chinese and the Korean Garden in the Gardens of the World park that we visited, with lots of cherry and magnolia blossoms.

cherry blossom capture ♡

After I've posted the first couple of impressions of my cherry blossom capture in my catching spring - post, I decided to share some more photos and impressions of the bloomage we had the chance to marvel at when we visited the Gardens of the World park two weeks ago.

I will only include the photos I took in the Japanese garden though. I went a little crazy and still have another 15 photos shortlisted but I don't know if I should include them in another posting, too.
Just because I can look at them without getting bored anytime soon, this doesn't have to apply to anyone else...

Today, the annual cherry blossom festival in one of Berlin's parks, namely the "Gardens of the World" in Marzahn takes place. However, I couldn't attend because it's my dad's birthday and I still have a lot to prepare until university starts again tomorrow.

I'm kind of excited for it, even though it's already the 4th time I start into the summer semester.
I somehow managed to get into almost all of my classes (only had to look for one alternative and got something rather nice) but the perspective to have to work for internship and go to university parallel is still really scary to me, though I will probably be able to get both done well.

There was still no way, I would miss my chance to see cherry blossoms up close this year, so I went to the park ahead of time, last Thursday with my boyfriend to take some photos and enjoy the blossoms while they last. It was really good to come this day because it's been rainig the last couple of days, making the chances of seeing the trees still in bloom slimmer with every little shower.

I mentioned it before, so now - to put a small break between the last posts about my Japan trip and to not let time lapse away too far - I decided to share a few impressions I gathered on this year's DMY.

DMY Berlin is an international platform/network for contemporary product/industrial design.
Every year they host the so-called International Design Festival, where famous and new designers have the chance to display their products, proto-types and new concepts.

highlights 2014 ♡ artistical homeland

I'm really aweful at blogging right now, since university still keeps me busy and I have a lot of assignments to do, being on the finishing line of this semester.
Even though it's already mid-2015 I don't want this last part to go by the board.
If you want to check out the previous impressions of this series, click here for part one | part two | part three of my highlights 2014.

I've always been interested in art and history and though I take the chance rarely, I really enjoy visiting museums - which there are a lot of in Berlin.
Generally this place has a lot of cultural places and monuments to visit and I think there will always be glimps and parts to discover.
I've been born in that city and therefore can't see it quite with the eyes of a tourist, though I've only lived here for four years - when I was still a small child, which makes it a bit more tricky but even more surprising whenever I get around to see such a place.

highlights 2014 ♡ Gardens of the World

I'm really late with the last two parts of the highlights from last year, I still wanted to post. I really hope I can get over with this soon, since it feels kind of weird for me to post about these here, though it's better than nothing at all - university is crazy as always, and my summer break still in a 2month's distance.

You can find part one and part two of this small "I don't want this photos and impressions to go to waste"-project by clicking above.
I posted about this magical place last spring already, when I visited the annual cherry blossom festival, here
I didn't have time to go this year, however I visited the gardens a second time last summer and spent a lovely day with the boyfriend.
I never can get myself to not take photos when I visit this place.
