What a spooky weekend ♡ Halloween special

(I'm so sorry - I couldn't upload this yesterday because I was too busy & my Internet wasn't cooperating.)

Despite the general hype that many of the people I follow on SNS share, flooding every dashboard I usual put my eyes on with tsunami-like waves of content and ghastly excitement I am not a Halloween enthusiast and as far as I remember I never was.

Of course I went trick-or-treating when I was still younger but being a person that is generally easily stattled and scared I never enjoyed horror movies or anything of that sort and am in the habit of avoiding the main reason most people look forward to October all year long.

Notwithstanding my obvious indifference to Halloween I would lie if I said I don't find some of the decorations and customs cute and fun.

For example, I really like autumn and pumpkins - pumpkin soup is one of my favorite dishes! - and there are a lot of ways to carve them artistically...

To cut a long story short, I decided to upload at least a little halloween special posting here on my blog, sharing some of the cute impressions and ideas I found scrolling through tumblr and pinterest.

I'm really lazy these days. really. lazy.

The weird thing is, that I get frustrated over myself because of that and still can't get myself to just get up and do things I have to do.

This time, I've been clicking through a blog, I've started to follow only a week or so ago, keeping myself from studying for the exam that is still waiting for me at the beginning of the new semester, that will start in a couple of weeks.

Piixel is a really cute blog, written by Sann and I've re-discovered a really offbeat blogging-style that I would like to be inspired by, too. It feels just so much richer in variety and I would love to have more of that on my blog as well. You should definitely check her blog, if you're constantly looking for new, interesting and fun blogs to follow - just like me.

Anyway, I clicked through her articles and found one, that seized on a tumblr blog called "andthatswhoIam". 

I've seen their edits and post and pictures floading around the Internet for a longer time now. I could spend hours, if not even days on that page, clicking through all the random little thoughts they gather and share there and because I always wanted to do this - but never did - I spontaniously decided to give you this - by contrast with former updates - rather random update here, where I want to share a couple of things I found, browsing this blog.

에프엑스 Red Light ♫

My oral exam is next week and the 21st is the day of my written exam. This is my excuse for that lack of updates and also a warning because I'm not exactly sure if I'll be able to update before the last weeks of this term's lecture periode have passed. Unfortunately the end of the term also means that my motivation is long, long gone... doesn't make studying periode a really fun experience, tbh.

I haven't spoken much about music on my blog this year, which is a pity because it's a big part of not only my everyday life but basically everything I do.
The long-awaited f(x) comeback, however, is enough reason to show a sign of life.
The song has an amazing drive but still some parts I stumbled over the first time I listened to it.
I'm hyped anyway and absolutely love the music video.
They are all looking super sexy and hot and just wow. It's been long since I've been so thrilled about a girl group's music video... but these ladies always get me out of my shell, haha.
Especially Amber - let's be real. 
She's been my favorite even before I knew who f(x) was and goddamnit, I love her so much.
She's such a lovely person with a fun and inspiring personality (and she's so incredibly attractive ;A;) and I'm pretty sure I'll spend the rest of my entire exisstence crushing on her...

Anyway - if you have a working proxmate or another addon (or are just lucky enough to not have an institution in your country that bans music videos on youtube) you can watch the new music video and do the math!

クリスマスや大晦日2013 ♡ recap

Before I can finally start my blogger year 2014 as well, I wanted to give a brief impression on how I spent Christmas and the last few days of 2013. I remember that some of you were interested in my Christmas presents as well.
I think I'll make a post about this, too. Probably.
So as the title already says this is a short recap on Christmas and New Year's Eve... but I take it a bit broader...

This post comes so late {and my new year's post will be even later} because university sucks ass.
No, seriously. It started with a huge mess of tests and midterm like exams and all this kind of unpleasant stuff. So I didn't had any time at all - I need vacation - and it's just been the first week yet.

Since I got a new cam for Christmas {maybe later more about that} I tried it out, 

especially the fact that you can control it via phone or computer.

new hair for the new year

The year is almost over and Christmas kinda just rushed by... till now I didn't think about doing a detailed post about it since it didn't feel like such a big event to me this year.

Maybe it's the stress?
Of course I spent some nice days with my family and I got a handful of cute and thought-out presents but I had not quite the motivation to take proper photos of them or think about anything else like that.

So if you are interested, let me know. You might find out about some presents sooner or later, when I mention them, maybe. (◎_◎;)

So today I just want to distract me from the fact, that I should be doing my song of the month and a couple of other postings I was planning to do these days for at least half a year now.

But of course, I absolutely forgot... Honestly, I'm not at my best lately.

My mom is going to do my best friend Cat's and my hair tomorrow so next to the release from the pudding hair that was forming on my head, I had to decide if I want a new hair cut as well.

Of course. I always want new hair. So after diving deep into the depth of our well known Internet, I wondered: why not share it with you when I'm already at it? (๑>ᴗ<๑)

Details ♡ May & June

As you all have noticed - due to missing updates - the past months were quite... stuffed.
I had to prepare for my exams and do much other work for university...
The only times when I allowed myself a bit free time was the CSD in Berlin and the small meeting with old friends from elementary school which I mentioned in my last outfit post.

Anyway, I found some moments worth to be kept. Preferably when I was outside with my dog and had a few minutes time to appreciate the flowers in our garden... or be surprised by a double rainbow.
There are a bunch of shots from university or my notes for upcoming fanfictions too. When I took care for my little siblings we drew together and it was the first time for a year that I tried something with water colors..

All in all this post now is about exactly those little details.

I'm so sorry I can't update properly lately because of my exams!

He's not even my bias but still... I'm happy and I goddamn-freaking love this song and the MV [though it's nothinng special - actually]. [I'll skip my passionate rant about how freaking-much I love key and why he is so sexy and OH MY GOD] When did Onew became so convident and sexy? I mean... he always was like a hidden treasure and now... woah.

Yes, I have a soft spot for k-pop mashups lately... 

But this literally blew my mind. DJ Masa created this firework of 75 songs and 9 instrumentals, all released in 2012. Let's take a moment to appreciate this stunning work.

JuBaFilms just made me realize how absolutely admirable skilled dancers are and how much work and talent you need to do something amazing like THAT!
I'm astonished again - guys, you get me anew with almost every video you make... 
I especially like this one because of their brilliant editing which fits incredibly good into the video's story board - next to B-Boy Blond's dancing skills... he really must be a legend in this 'scene'.
I'm not good in dancing so I don't know too much about this either - I'm just fangirling; sorry. 

Just watch it. It's worth it.

Sorry for not posting yesterday but I spend the whole day with university stuff and I still have to learn Japanese vocabulary... 
Anyway I want to write something here now and because I don't want to continue with my everyday stuff as usual - and in the light of current events - I'll write a 'proper' blog post now.
